Cloth Diapering 101
The decision to use cloth or disposable diapers can be an overwhelming one. There are many options for types and brands on either path, and conflicting opinions exist on which is a better choice for you, your baby and the environment.
If you have already made the decision to cloth diaper, you may be wondering whether to buy pre-folds, fitteds, pockets or all-in-ones... and what about all the accessories?! Many parents also have questions about how to care for their cloth diapers.

Details about Cloth Diapering 101...
- This event requires pre-registration.
- This event is free to members as well as to customers who create a Babes in Arms baby registry and to doulas and birth educators.
- Other interested parties may register for $10, and receive a certificate for $10 off the future purchase of any cloth diaper or diapering accessory purchase over $100 at Babes in Arms.
- Each registered person may bring a guest, covered by the $10 fee. However, there is only one coupon per registered customer (ie. if you bring a friend, they will not receive the coupon unless they register separately).
- The class will include comparisons of disposable and cloth diapers based on economic, health and environmental factors; descriptions of the different types of cloth diapers (flat, pre-fold, fitted, pocket, all-in-one and cloth/disposable hybrids); an outline of factors that may affect your decision (cost, effectiveness, ease of use, diaper materials, planned number of children, gender of baby); a list of diapering accessories that you may need or want; and how to care for your cloth diapers in a way that is both user-friendly and will ensure the longevity of your diapers.
- Examples of each type will be on hand to touch and feel.

Babywearing 101
Babywearing 101 is meant for parents and caregivers who want to know more about babywearing, for newborns, bigger babies or even toddlers. This class is suitable for parents-to-be, or anyone who already has their baby. Bring your baby with you if you have them! If you don't, we have weighted dolls available to try in the carriers.

Details about Babywearing 101...
- This event is free with the purchase of any carrier from Babes in Arms, though pre-registration is required. This offer is open to anyone who has purchased a carrier from us in the past or who does so before the event.
- This event is also free to members and customers who create a Babes in Arms baby registry and to doulas and birth educators.

This is not your average new mom and baby class! We know you have the basics down with your new baby, but we wanted to take it a bit farther. We always hear that moms and dads are looking for FUN things to do with their new babies but don't know where to start. Look no further than this class. We have gathered the top experts in the field to each teach a class that gives you the tools you need to make that first year a breeze! Baby Massage, Cloth Diapering, Babywearing, Nutrition, Play & Sign and how it all works together are just some of the classes that you will get in this 8 week series! You will not be able to find a class as unique, informative and fun anywhere else.

October 25 - Fleeting Moments ~ Learn tips and tricks to capture those incredible moments and how to keep them for years to come. (Photography and Virtual Expression)
November 1 - Healthy Mom : Healthy Baby ~ Learn how to get the most of of nutrition and fitness for you and your little one. (First Step Nutrition and Salsa Babies)
November 8 - Sing, Read and Sign! ~ Our wrap up class! The most fun that you will have with your baby! Join Miss.Natalie of Little Wonders as she shows you how playing with your baby can be educational as well as a whole lot of fun!!

| Private, In-Home Babywearing and Cloth Diapering Classes |
| Like the idea of a class but prefer the comfort of your own home? Or maybe the scheduled dates don't work for you? All the above classes are offered as in-home consultations for up to eight couples. A class runs an hour and a half and costs $75 whether it's just you or you invite seven other families. Book a cloth diapering class and a babywearing class at the same time and the cost per class drops to $65!
